I think it might be a Brummy term for, "Great or Excellent" but due to his spelling skills it was easier to write "Bostin" ;)

Sorry Bell!

When we were kids the saying 'bostin Steve Austin' was a favourite.

Yes, it's Brummie slang and comes from the term 'bost' meaning broken. It's a bit like people now saying things are 'bang on' or even 'banging' although these are used less recently and kids are more likely to say it's 'sick' these days.

I have been trying to use the term 'bostin' a lot more recently and I am very impressed that Mike has used it here.

Don't remember Allan ever using the term 'bostin'.

Magic our Morris.

I'm afraid not Ian.

Dave and I have had a fantastic season and we have really enjoyed our battles with all. The most memorable have been with the Latherons, Ray/Ted, Clive/Brian, Damian/Nancy, Ian/Kev and of course Mike/Karl.

We have been very lucky and watched others working so hard to get out racing. Unfortunately all of our bad luck has come over the last couple of weeks.

Despite the best efforts of many to sort things out there is just too much to do so I think we will cancel our entry for the festival and concentrate on getting the outfit ready for next season.

We will be cheering you on this weekend and I am looking forward to watching some of the best racing available anywhere.

Sorry to hear that Simon. We have fared a little better but it is with a much sadness we will be racing knowing it will be the last outing on our current bike (and possibly for a while?) as we too have had to cancel our Festival entry. You are right though there has been some great racing this season and we have had a terrific time and are still taking in getting on the podium at Snetterton! A real seson of highs and lows.
