Geoff the Konig ran exactly as you would expect a Konig to run, very fast while it lasted. The chassis is superb just needs a good pilot.

Perhaps some of the classic club members who only have knowledge of club meetings at Lydden , will realize the top people were also about in the period bringing innovation and quality machinery to the sport.Who is there in the classic club who
really knows the period :gun: [hundreds if you listen to them]

Hi Tim

Apologies for not a chance to chat to you and Howard. I am putting together apiece for Classic Racer.
Great photos. If I get time I will try and post some of those that I took on the grid. (The benefits of a press pass come in handy). For those that haven't before, you must try it. Weather can be typical Ardennes. Lashing down or baking hot. Fortunately we were blessed with the later while the 'parades' took place.

Gary,

I trust you have sobered up now after the night in Malmedy, I nearly have.
If you have any pics of me on the Ham-Yam or Piglet I would love to see them. What a weekend!

Regards,

Merv

Nick, plan it now and commit to it. It was the most fabulous track time I have ever had, and by far the best paddock time I have experienced too, typically Belgique all the way. Don't think about it, go do it, you know it makes sense (who was it that said that in a TV advert?)
