pete actually had his op today and is due back on the ward shortly ......

keep us all up to date then...hope it went a ok

He was asleep until about an hour ago. Very sore, and will be a bit less able to escape for the next week or so! Joe still here and a bit bored now, so I will see if I can get a wheelchair and take him out of the ward tomorrow.

Pleased Pete has finally had his Op, when I spoke to him on Thursday he had been visited by the surgeon, and had been told that he would be fitted into 1 of the 3 slots available in theartre.

He was already making plans for his return to racing, now he can concentrate on getting back to full fitness.

Good news for Pete

He's discovered he's not quite as smart as he thought he was LOL! Was outside when I arrived, but fairly quickly had to go back . It doesn't pay to do too much too soon, b ut can you tell him??? Looks like he'll gat a pot on the leg soon, and then he'll really be trouble!

Glad to hear Pete has finally had his op. Hope all went well and all the best for a full recovery.
Bet he's gasping to get out for a roll up !

Got a pot on now, although it may have to be changed, if it seems tight. Still escaping for a fag, although that well known puritan, Nick Crowe has been put in the same room and keeps nagging him about his nasty, filthy habit!
Light now showing at the end of the tunnel for Pete, and perhaps also for Joe, as he had encouraging news about the chance of a bed at Bradford very soon. If not, I reckon he could claim Manx residency soon!

Well, the problem is that at the moment he's not allowed out!

Been to see Pete tonight, pot is very Pink, not sure it suits him bit there again i don't know him that well .Nick recons Pete has smoke coming out of his ears he goes of for a fag that often. Joined him outside for a rollup while helen waited for her bus, seems in good spirits. No date for release as yet.

Thanks to you all for all your support and I did escape at last, I am stopping at Port St Mary for a couple of days while I at leased try to figger out how to get these legs to go in the correct direction. lol hope to be home at weekend for a couple of days. Then have to come back for more treatment over the next couple of months ect.

Looks like that was wishful thinking on his part as Nobles are still waiting to hear from Huddersfield hospital..SO... all you Manx slidey peeps... there's still time to go and see Joe! It's now a full 3 weeks since he has been there ... bit of a disgrace.. especially as he has still not had the operation on his eye socket.
