I can't see them either. I've probably got the forum set to maintain stuff over a certain age on here to prune.
Thankfully our hosting issues from back then are gone, I'll skype Dane and see if she can email me the pics for an album John

Ta RP! That's the earlier version as on the later one Jack lay more or less prone on the beast.

Jack was a Ford development engineer, the lump in that thing was a 1300cc full DFV and sounded awesome. Enough power to lay rubber in all gears. If he could have got it to finish races it would have annihilated everything else out there to the point that it could well have been banned à la Greenwood Mini.
Unfortunately (?) it was not reliable and on one memorable occasion at Lydden was awarded a special trophy by Bill Chesson for having finished a race

I remember that. The later colourscheme of the outfit was black. Memories of it being blisteringly quick in a straightline at Lydden but Jack couldn't get it round the corners. Every year at the Sidecar Burn-Up he would appear. I suppose it created some extra interest for the crowd. Did he ever race it at Snetterton (full circuit) or Silverstone. With those long starights he could have been unbeatable.

Correct Gary

It was a replica John Player Lotus scheme, black and gold, very smart too.

I remember Jack doing the GP circuit at Brands and not making it around Surtees, going a bit wide and ending up in the tyre wall.

Umm, no, not at all Ian. There was no handling so it could not have been an issue
