Just tried to call Joe on the phone cant get through is he okay Helen?

He's on good form, even though he was very disappointed not to be away today. He was told he was going to Huddersfield, but I think by the time the consultant rang them back the bed must have gone. I can never get through on his phone... Annette just phones the ward.

Joe's no credit on his mobile, so can't receive calls on that. Just ring the ward on 01624 650021 and they will put him on.

Silly boy. If he'd told me I'd have put some on again... if he's still there tomorrow I will. The ward phone is probably better anyway, though.

Definitely better ringing ward phone, as Joe has to pay to receive calls from across.

Darn it.... never mind TXT him everyone. If I'd realised that before I'd have got him a SURE SIM card... they don't charge for calls made to or received from across. He has credit now, and insructions to txt me if he gets low on credit. However, he is desperate to get home, and I have a feeling tomorrow might be the day. he's so much better, still a bit sore, but nothing he can't handle with a few painkillers and just needs the op for his eye socket.
I'm going to miss him when he goes home!!
