Spoke to Warwick just before TT as I wanted him to ride my outfit in the parade, but due to old war wounds he did not feel fit enough. He works as an accountant with young Boddice and does not have any dealings with racing now. After our change from the Kawasaki to Yam750 in the 83 Warwick went on to win the TT overall in I think 87 with Eddie Yarcker ( was I pig sick) He retired shortly after following a bad crash on the continent.

The Kawasaki was a beast, Warwick had the motors done by Phil Manzarno ( not sure of spelling) he used to tune the motors for the Dutch drag racer Henk Vink. We would always be in the first group into the first corner and hold the lesser yams on the straights but could'nt touch them through the corners due to the weight of the motor. Remember doing a national at Mallory, went from the back row to second into Gerards and having Jock, Trevor Ireson,Greasly and co drive go round us as Warwick wrestled the bike. Had some great fun at Aintree with Des Founds, Les Hurst and Co.Happy days

The original, an ex I think John Barker chassis was sold to Norman Burgess in 80 (which he wrecked at Mallory), the engines went into a new Rumble which we used in 81/82. I'm pretty sure it was sold to Billy Buxton and his wife when we went to the the Yamaha/Rumble.

Yes, we did a lot of North Glos meetings. Remember racing against Mick Burcombe, Pete Tyack, Chris Nichols ( on his DBA engined monster) They were good fiun those meetings.
