Mal White.

Anyone remember Mal White & his chassis made from fibreglass??
I only saw it once at Cadwell.
do's anyone have a photo of it????

Yep remember Mal sadly lost life at Silverstone i think.
Vaguely recall the chassis, my brother talked about building one but like a lot of things thats as far as it got

that Derek Blackburn had a Mal white chasis with a tz 750 engine in

I think he sold it to Ray Towse. Don't know what happened to it after that. I will ask Mick Staiano, who use to sponsor Mal White, if he has any pictures.

I remember Derek Blackbourn racing a new Windle 700 Yamaha outfit in '82 (short wheelbase) ......... got a couple of nice pics of it at Oulton

just spoke to my old mate that used to race with Derek Blackburn(the same time ) and he remembers that he had a Mal White replica 'think' a chap called Ken Graham built it
yes you are right he did have a new windle but had the Mal White before the windle
love to see some pictures
trying to remember over 20 years ago, oooh don't i feel old now

Mal's bikes were always well turned out and called the TRIFLY with a dragon fly type logo with 3 pairs of wings

I think Ken Graham is correct, I raced with Derek late 70's - early 80's and the name does strike a chord.
