Hi Dick, They sponsor us with our ignition needs and it has NEVER let us down... Would well recommend them. Dont know exact one but we use the BLUE box type if thats any help.... Let them know what motor you have and they will sort it for you...
If you mention our name they may well have it down on their pc data ??

cheers rob spoke to a kevin fella last night at bransden good man but he did not know which one to go for he suggested i spoke to someone using their units ,are you using the alternator taper or the old points position , i am going down your route and keeping it wet sump have got two motors but one is 78 and as yet dont know which the other is so i thought to go off the crank taper and then can share same ignitor unit ,if that makes sense to you

Yep ..Thats where we have our trigger from the crank taper... Outfit is "sleeping" at the moment down at Wiki's so getting to it to see is a bit of a trek... Will have a look through paperwork tonight for model no etc

Hi Dick I ran a BMW outfit some years ago and also ran the ignition from the crank taper, the ignition system we used was a Krober from the 2 stroke twin TZ Yamaha racers it worked very well as it ran four spark plugs in our twin plug heads as I recall the rotor had the same taper as the BMW crank and was also self generating so no battery required, good luck. ;)
