Dave Mallows is also an awesome driver - learnt his craft over many seasons of sidecar motocross

....which explains why Dave was able (or at least tried!) to overtake many teams on the grass if he couldn't do it on the tarmac.....he looked just as comfortable 8)

The Donington Park , on the the 25th April 1981 Was the one that got snowed off, as the marshals got frost bite and our tent got flooded., was very very cold.and wet, and the meeting was abandoned, and on the way home down the motorway the sun shone..if l remember correctly , as it was the day before Mucks Birthday. and we had a trophy, as you didnt have to win to get one you could buy one so that you had a memory of the day.
