Me again,
I am searching for details regarding my dads (Robert 'Bob' Andrew King)racing career and he passengered for Alan in the late 60's.
I have found out some details regarding some races they had done but i am looking for as much as possible.
The ones i know of are the '66 and '67 TT on the isle of man, '66 The Hutchinson 100 @ Brands Hatch and '67 race of the year at Mallory Park. I know that they got good results in British club meetings but i dont know which ones.
Im hoping that alot of you remeber Alan and this may trigger info regarding him and my dad.
They used to do alot of work on outfits at my nans in Dagenham, Triumphs and Ducatis that i know of,
Anyway Thanks,
Steve.

Re: Alan Sansum
Anyone seen Alan over there in Oz, or has he abandoned bikes altogether?
Happiness is three-wheeled.

Hi Mate,
I believe a guy I used to race against in the classic club was Allan's nephew. His name is Andy Evans and bloody quick he was too. He used some of Allan's colour schemes etc, so its definately worth getting in touch with Andy.
Try a post on here for Andy's number, one of the classic boys will definately have it, or even Phil Pick at Triple cycles.
I am sure Andy will have loads of history for you, as he always used to tell me stories of days gone past.
Good luck

Dont be embarrased as they could be thinking the same thing, l doubt if they will bite your head off. S E at Brands the other week saw a very old mate of his dads. Mossy he thought it was him so he asked him and yes it was , so we know that he is still around and hope to keep in touch. (he,s suppose to be helping an MZ der.)k1ngy wrote:Hi,
