Now before anyone goes off the deep end I am going to congratulate CRMC - yes, that's right They seem, in some measure, to have become less anally retentive, lightened up and regained a small sense of humour :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:

According to the report in current Classic Racer at the recent AGM an award was made to a lady passenger (whose name I shall not repeat here to save any further blushes) for the 'Rear of the Year'.

Well done CRMC - as the Chinese proverb says 'Even the longest journey begins with the first step'

Glad you like the award Bob. It was, I believe, introduced by the marshals as a bit of fun. With the changes over the past few years to a more 'approachable' commitee etc the 'award' status was elevated. It was handed out by the marshals co -ordinator, chief marshal and a couple of others. It is a source of great fun throughout the year and it made a pleasant chnage for the recipiant to be female this time round
