by little chud
signing a petition is good in that it show the club that the public want to see sidecars racing, but it will do nothing to get those people with bikes sat in their sheds to drag them out and race.
These people need to either use them or sell them but it is
their choice, who are we to force them.
As time goes by it makes sense IMHO to accept newer machines, so like Annette says allow f350 and the numbers will increase. No doubt some purists would rather see just one bike on the grid because it complies with the rules, but if the members of the club want to change the rules to allow newer machines then that is their choice.
Who knows we may be having this argument about LCR's racing with CRMC one day
So again IMHO, we need direct action and in our case that will mean when we are invited to race we buy some treaded tyres and join the grid.

Totally agree Chud.
All things have to evolve/be flexible to survive.
And the tyres I use are less than £40 each!

I am sure the F350 thing has been looked at before and am led to believe that there is a tyre issue (i.e slicks?)

Not sure anyone has even thought about the fact that the F350 are rear exit
