Tony Williams......crackin bloke, had a big crash a few years ago and sustained some big injuries...where is he, how is he and whats he up to these days......and his old passenger Steve Crow

Tony is still living in Thirsk but not raced since the accident. He is still having a few problems due to his injuries and now puts all of his time into his son's racing. He races Karts with a Billand engine and is leading the Britsh Championship. Steve Crow is into his Paragliding and is doing well.

Cheers mate, do you see anything of either of them. Raced against them alot through the nineties and they were top lads to be around

Yeah mate speak to Tony on a daily basis we are going up to stay with him at the end of this month,Haven't seen Steve since before xmas but will try and arrange to see him this time round

Last time I saw Tony was at Assen S/C gp 4/5 years ago. Met him in the paddock & thought I was talking to Barrie Gibb, his hair had grown a bit & could also pass as Lennie the Lion, Pass on my reguards "Smutly".

Last time I saw him was 2005 at Brands and we both sat in the Grandstand at Paddock trying to work out how to use the new Mobiles phones we had just bought, luckily his wife was there and instructed us on how to use them.

Was he OK Ian or are his injuries still playing him up

I saw Tony at the beer tent at the TT this year.
He looked OK to me and he hasn't got any smaller.

The big man is doing good, had a few good nights with him, he still like's a wee dram You never know he might make it to Croft for the British F1 Championship.

Going up to see the big man tomorrow for a long weekend, will have a few drams, will tell him your all asking about him,willhave a drink for you wally
