I think we should all have a whip round and buy it between us. Who's in? Say £500 each? It will make at least £10,000 which is possibly the reserve.

Is it just me but £10,000 would be an absolute steal surely???? I could just imagine turning up at a CRMC meeting and racing that. What a dream!

Don't know about the reserve, but I reckon it's worth three to four times that amount if the information is genuine and the bike is as good as it looks in those photographs. It will be interesting to see what it goes for and whether it meets the reserve.

I reckon it's certainly possible. Perhaps even more. I'm not sure that Ebay is where I would sell such a prestigious piece of machinery though !

Looks kosher to me :) Reckon £50k is nearer the mark.

Off Topic: If machinery such as this is used at CRMC or other UK meetings then noise limits definitely ought to be rescinded - it's bordering on the criminal not to be allowed to hear such things in their full glory.

Well, it will be interesting to see. Nobody who wants to go classic racing in the UK will have that sort of money or be able to borrow it (especially now) so if it does make that amount I would expect it to go to a collector or overseas. No doubt someone will prove me wrong

Which class would this outfit be placed if raced with the CRMC?

I'm fairly certain that the outfit is owned, or maybe has just been restored by, Martin at Rustler Racing.

If it is the same one it was in his workshop over last Christmas when he was repairing my TZ frame.

Martin is an ex-BSA engineer and I can confirm his work is top class.
