Help bleeding brakes.....

Ok we have just fitted a new master cylinder to the bike and now cant get the air out the system, we hung the calipers up above the level of the master cyl. and left them like that for a week, before we even started to try and get the air out.
The brake line feeds the chair wheel and the front LHS caliper too.
Someone must have the easy way of doing this without wasting hours in the garage.
We have tried opening both bleed nipples at once and pumping the pedal but still cant get any pressure.
I have tried searching the forums to find advice but cant find any! Help.......

Thanks Ronno, not treid mityvac yet as I would have thought with such a simple system you wouldnt need a vacuum or pressure bleeder, looks like I maybe wrong though eh?
And thanks for the links too, wonder if anyone else can shed some light on how to do it with no special kits etc etc.......Help !

your gonna have to do one at a time.
it's easy to do, needs 2 people
first have one person at the brake and the other with a spanner on the caliper nipple your bleeding ( you can put a pipe on the nipple going into a tub to prevent fluid everywhere)
then crack open the nipple and pull the brake lever in all the way, then nip the nipple back up and gently release the brake lever back to resting position then with the nipple closed pump the brakes a couple of times. repeat this several times
once you start to feel some pressure, pump the lever and hold it back then open the nipple to release the pressure, once the lever is all the way back close the nipple and slowly release the lever. repeat a few times
then check to see if there if a nice flow of fluid coming out of the nipple when open without any bubbles, if there is just repeat the steps above.
once you think it's ok, move on to the next calliper
this is how we bleed are brakes and we stop quiet well just ask any body who saw us going into edwenas on plum pudding

spot on deno...but please be sure to not use an easy bleader as it will only work when you have some pressure ....just a plain pipe, clear if possible.........

good stuff,
now you have the brakes, all you need is the courage to use them later than every one else
or is that the supidity to use them later i do get mixed up some times
