I bought a Fidderman chassis from Mick in 1983, we converted it to our first F2 outfit.

That was probably the same one Mick bought from my dad; had a TZ750 in, but my dad never rode it. Mick saw it in the showroom and decided he wanted it and made an offer :D

Last I heard of Mick would have been about 1996 when he packed in racing (for the third time) and although as far as I know he still lives in the York area, I've never seen or heard from him since.

That's the very fellow, Andy. Norm passengered Mick for years, and I think had to pack in regardless in 1996/97 as his eyesight was getting bad.

Blue / White fairing is correct too, Ebor Racing painted on it.

Was he not also the 'Count of Carnaby' ?

Wasn't the "Count of Carnaby" the British Championship meeting that was televised in 88 or thereabouts ? I think all the big guns were there back then :?:

Norman Oxley is still working at Portasilo in Huntington. Been on the sick for quite a while as he has had heart problems but is getting better.
