Where do you get it all from? Is there much of it still around? I know Dad twenty years ago was having more and more trouble getting NSU stuff.

Should that go in parts/suppliers in the directory or is it inside information?

What are prices like? Can you get things like cranks easily? Do you think prices are going to increase given the increasing popularity at the moment?

You can buy loads of stuff on ebay. Engines (875) from £25.00 up to a full 1170cc five bearing race motor at £5k Cranks are very strong and last for years.

With prices like that I can see why so many opt for Imp power. If only Triple parts were that reasonable (and available

)

Ian, that full race motor that you kindly picked up for me was 1500 quid.

Thanks guys. Interesting reading. Seems a lot better than Dad was doing with the NSU - and at the rate he got through cases and rods etc.. I think he halved the stock of Europe in a few years single handedly
So there isn't the situation yet of low availability pushing prices sky high, that's good

Bloody hell

Our barrells alone cost that

I don't even want to begin to add up what that motor has cost us

still its good to be the odd one out on the grid

Chrysler sold 1000s of these cars. I bought three brand new 930cc short engines last year for £500. each. Thats new old stock, and theres lots about as the sunbeam used basically the same engine.

Didn't know where to put it so there's 'Classic Specialists' to start a new category off.
