Re: Ian Wooffwoof's pic
Could it be Hubacher,(probably spelt wrong) and his brother in the chair. I think they were Swiss so the sidecar is on the correct side??

No sorry Geoff, I think Kenny Arthur also rode with Hubacher many years ago.

Re: Ian Wooffwoof's pic
Judging by photos of the 68 TT in a magazine, looks like Johann Attenberger and Josef Schillinger. They were second to Schauzu in the TT, won the Dutch but were killed a week later in Belgium. They were German so why the outfit is the British/Swiss way round don't know.

Correct John, I found this memorial to them-
http://www.motorsportmemorial.org/searc ... selecteddb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
One possibility of why he ran the chair on the other side to the other Germans could be that most circuits run clock wise so he may have thought that putting the chair on the left might give him an advantage over his compatriots?
That final race he had at Spa against George Auerbacher must have been incredible to watch, Auerbacher on a right sided outfit against Attenberger on the left sided one.
