Kenny Howels and Monty...

These were taken during a trip into Europe with Kenny Howels and his faithful side kick Monty and a group of friends in a borrowed Mercedes Van and a caravan. We managed to loose a tyre and wreck a caravan wheel rim before we got to Dover,,,, 
It was only then I found we had more bodies than beds...
It turned out that Kenny and Monty would have the beds in the caravan, I was to sleep in one of the bunks in the Merc van but Kenny's mate Graham, his Mrs Ann and their 2 kids would camp in a tent for the 14 days we were away.....Or anywhere they could during the trip to and from Eastern Europe.
This photo was taken in a roadside bistro late on a Sunday evening somewhere in Bratislava which was just about to close when we turned up gasping for a drink. For some reason we tried to go via the scenic route from Brno to Hungaroring, got a bit lost and this place was our last resort to have a late beer that night...
Its is funny how your travels and achievements get a little exaggerated when you are in a place where no one knows you from Adam,,,,,,well one thing led to another and the beers were flowing , then the Schnapps came out then all the owners family came to meet us. I raided my rucksack to give all these lovely people a T shirt a piece to show our thanks for hospitality,they then brought out some food, more schnapps more beer and then some champagne which I sprayed all over everyone as we were the only ones left in the bar ......
By the time the 3 photo was taken we had been there a few hours so Kenny did what every drunk English man does when on holiday...
Or was it because I had just soaked everyone with the champers ?
Kenny, Ann and Graham get in on the action......Soon after I was roped into squaring up the bill for all the stuff we had eaten and drank, we settled in 30 DM as far as I can remember....
I didn't make it to the Bistro the next morning for breakfast , I wasn't feeling to well....
