Ex MotoX, Grasstrack etc drivers?

Just been thinking about Dave Mallows, now believed retired and an ex MotoX driver how many more have there been in the past? Well it would be in the past wouldn't it as me crystal ball is still at the mender's, keeps muttering something about lack of parts ....

Nigel Mead Dave Lofthouse Mick Webster Dave Hunter. All ex british grass track champions and all from York and all
went road racing. Nigel Mead was twice runner up to Chris Vincent in the british road race championship.
Mick Websters lad also did a bit of sidecar racing !

rob nobhound cameron was british grasstrack champion , paul winki randall was passenger 2 mick cameron robs dad on the grass. also lenny boarer was a hard charger

Does the name Vic Hyland mean anything to anybody. He d went from Grass to the roads back in the day. I believe he did the first meeting when Lydden went Tarmac!

That bring's back scarey memories. Gary and I raced that outfit with a TZ700/750 in it. It handled so badly. We were doing the Race of Aces at Snett and the bike just jumped sideways about 4 foot. We finished the race, parked it and never rode it again. Originally it had "Kettles" in it. I think with TZ's and Gary's hard riding we reached the max of the outfit.
Not saying it was bad but we nicknamed it the "Ninja Turd"
Think it was built By Cliff(or Clive) Carter, friend of BFD.

i'm an ex right and left handed grass passenger(9 tears)......was exellent till the accident that ended that career....regards matt dix
