Steady on there, my Northern Numptie Captain chum, whose on-track speed is starting to become a little wearing. We are heading north with two outfits, have booked the campsite for the week and have entered the Mac. I think you'll find the Kent pensioners are also staying and rumour has it Damien and Nancy will be there. So, it's not us Southern Softies you need to speak to, it's the Midland Mingers!
Whilst in the gravel trap Saturday I was thinking what if we reverse the start order for next season, e.g. finish first, start last. It's just a thought!
Also one of the bike engine boys, I forget his name now, suggested limiting the Imps to 1040. Being an Imp man yourself what do you think? It seems fair to me.
You'd be better booking the morning test session and leave us slower guys to the afternoon cos we don't want to hold you up!
Ian

Well you can limit the IMPs to 1040 if you like. But the 1040 is faster than a long stroke 1170cc (1200) in round figures. Trans Imp are currently working on a special one at the moment that is guaranteed to beat a Patten 1170, and its not my order. But I think they may soon have it.
Anyway I hope you have got your passports and sun tan lotion sorted for Jockhill. Where
are you going to stay between the weekends.

Apparently we are staying at Yellowcraig Caravan Club Site in East Berwick which is only about 5 miles from East Fortune and 29 miles from Edinburgh. It is quite a simple site with 116 pitches, toilet, showers and laundry.
Concerns about the passports as ours don't have retina recognition! Do you think they'll be OK - or should we take some fags to give to the Customs?

Ian I know that camsite its really nice. Take a warm pullover though the wind off the north sea can be a little bracing. Fags dont work for the scots like you, and me they like a wee dram.
Its a beautiful coastline with air you southerners will rarely expierence. See you there.

Myself and my passenger Peter Burgess are going to be riding a lovely little BSA (A70) engined RGM which Peter has just bought from A guy Wheatley in Newton Aycliff, out of interest does anybody know anything about this bike, it is painted light blue with striping verry simmilar to old Trevor Ireson colours.
Thanks Alan Warden
(ps canna broodily wait)

We would have loved to have done the Bob Mac, but after all the recent expense, we're having to tighten our belts a little.
