Only 8 sidecars made it out for practice and only 10 entered in total.
Dick Hawes & Lenny Pallister with problems.
Albert 'Brassic' yam & Dicky Gale ~ swinging arm trouble. Looking for bearings but job in hand!
Biggs fastest on his brand new Busch BMW 3m 12.971 (79+mph)
Englehart next fastest on his Busch BMW 3m 14.798 (78+mph)
Saunders / Kiff BMW ~ 3m 31.111 (72+mph)
Toombs on his BMW ~ 3m 33.060 (71+mph)
Then it becomes a little hazy with:
Salters going well on his Norton.
Nick Cutmore going well on a BSA.
Someone on an old A65 trundling around nicely! Suspect it's Nigel 'Smiffy' Smith
Slowest lap by anyone: 3m 37s
Hope to get times shortly if uncle Dipstick Dave Smith gets his finger out & walks down for the times for me

Vic, and I would have loved to have been there. Unfortunatly the ACU supremos said no ! she is not old enough (18yrs) until a few weeks after.
Same for the TT again no!
We have no problem on the continent, and in my opinion Vic is certainly up to Road racing anywhere, and a damn site better than some of the passengers accepted for this years TT.
It will be interesting to watch the progress of some of them as the fornight unfolds.
