Steady on chaps, I have just returned from the IOM earlier today so the solos will take pole position in any features likely to be shown in this first prog.

With the slideys going out 1st for tonights (Thursday) session I expect they will have no choice but to include their efforts in Fridays pre-view of the start of the Festival proper...

It is about time slideys got out first for a change, it has been promised for long enough but never happened. Even now the change wasn't made to benefit the sidecars it was done for the solos  , but we still benefitted so I suppose it worked out ok.

Its funny Dan but a few years back on the riders forum we discussed the possibility of the sidecars going out in the middle of the session. The solo side of the forum thought this was a good idea as it would give them a break, especialy the riders with a few different bikes (there were different solos in those days). However it was decided that if an outfit broke down in a dodgy position it would cause problems obviously because of the width etc. ;) So the modern F2s must be narrower . :D
