From Dips - with Tim

Struggled a bit with suspension, but all seems ok now, just lacking some legs on the engine. Gutted for Carl and Keir, and the decision made by the officials to not let Carl race with Winnie despite the 30 signatures from racers..
Tonight's been our best of the week and it's coming together now, I feel more comfortable... so Happy Days, Tim reckons we're much quicker through certain bits than last year but with no legs it's making it difficult.

Thanks Dips!!

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but why is a change of passenger not being allowed given there is still (on paper at least) time available for qualifying ? (re Carl and Jamie).

I can tell you why....because Eddie Nelson is a knob. I am certain if it were Dave or Klaus it would be no problem at all. That is not a dig or Dave/Klaus......it is the way Eddie operates. I am not talking out of my backside either...remember my little sister used to be the Secretary of the TT Meeting (Clare Bartley).

The man annoys me and some of his rules are odd at best.

Matty Sayle isn't a newcomer. Can't he race with Winnie. Eddie Nelson loves this red tape and authority lark. Yes I agree Fitz with your apt description of him. Let the guys race for goodness sake. They have all come far enough and shown they are good enough riders to be there.

Winnie didn't want to race with Matty.
