What about for the earlier model with parallelogram front end?

Yeah!! Are they very different? Mine has the sidecar wheel arms modified & looks like the wheel has been moved forward about 55mm. The rear upright has mounts & bolt holes not used & I'm wondering if it's in the right place now.

Trellis front is same
0 deg camber
3-6 deg castor
side and rear same for obvious reasons.

My '94 sidecar mount has 2 mounts where the rod ends bolt up. There's 55mm distance between the hole centres. When or why should it be changed? It's set at the most foward position at the moment & seems O.K. on slicks, but with the wets on the last race I was getting bad understeer on fast rights, but I think the front tyre has gone hard. If I move it towards the rear, does that put more weight on the front?

Mine has the sam exact thing, Louie told me to just never use the front one

After a crap weekend @ Phillip Island I need some help/information on setting up my bike.
94 LCR with trellis style front end running GSXR K2, Koni shocks with 2 coil type helper spring on rear. Front spring seems a bit soft not sure what should be on it. Rider 103 kg & passenger bugger all @ 53 kg. Problem is very heavy steering on left turns getting blisters on left hand & pushing with the right trying to make it turn. I've turned out the rose joints as far as I'm comfortable with. Anyone got any ideas?

You could try putting the sidecar wheel as far forward as possible, you may have to much weight on the front end ( driver 103kg , passenger 53kg ) You should try this 1st, then just try putting about 14psi in the front tyre ( just to test, so go steady ) and if this help you may have the wrong tyre width for your front rim. You may have to go to a thinner tyre, of wider rim.

A good start with the springs

Front 80kg
Rear 100kg

Koni shocks

Front bottom 3 x clicks clockwise and top 4 x full sweeps of the adjusting slot
Back " 5 x " " " " 5 x " " " " " "

Also make sure the back wheel is in line with the chassis straight edge along the top, then have the sidecar wheel toe-in set to this edge 3mm over 1 x metre.

Thanks Steve, sidecar wheel is as far foward as possible & running Avon 8.2 front 13 psi. Going to pull the front shock out & check the spring. I think it's softer than 80kg so maybe that's the cause. Going to try some wider bars as well.
I'll give it a try Sunday as we have our come & try day. Thanks for the help.

Well, the bike is heaps better, did about 100 laps around Broadford circuit on Sunday. Straight away could feel the difference. Adam Treasure was there & rode it & suggested a couple of changes. Can't wait to get back to Phillip Island to try it out. Will have a new fairing/seat to get more comfortable. Thanks heaps for the info Steve.

This may sound like silly questions, but...

When changing from Yokohama 14" rear to Avon rear, adjust ride height in back to same?

Pressures?
Running 10psi cold side and rear, 11psi front on Yokohamas.
Avons (?)
