I ve just heard that they will be no noise limits at next years TT, is this true?

there was an article in mcn this week saying they are discussing the possibility of running bikes unsilenced in the superbike and 1 superstock/sport race.hpe that helps answer ur question

So the residents can really complain about the noise and campaign to get it banned?

OR to let in moto2 machines into some class somewhere? :D (dreaming, Bob would like it though :P )

Its so there is a difference between superstock and superbike, at mo the classes look and sound the same. How just changing a silencer makes that much difference I don't know. In the early 80's we had a straight through pipe for the TT, thats when i started wearing ear plugs, 1000 Kawasaki at 12,000 rpm a foot from your ear certainly made your ears bleed.

I've still got ringing in my ears from 2007 parade lap, think its called tinnitus now :cry:
