I never got involved in this taxi ride thing - but does anyone actually tell these people that you need to lean to the left on a left hander?

The Taxi ride thing at Llandow on the KCP corporate day when this video was recorded was very much to give people who have never been on a sidecar a taster and a thrill (some of them had never seen a racing outfit before) so we were placing them leaning on the seat holding two handles and instructing them not to move. Pete Williams, Andy King, and myself had discussed this before we started as the safest way to go. We the drivers all agreed it was surprising how fast you could go with the passengers not moving. Pete Williams comment then was "Its when they try to passenger it gets dangerous!" and I completely agree. The following day was a different matter, drivers and passengers where talking about moving and starting to learn how to feel what the outfit was doing and move appropriately. From this day we will see some new passengers coming out to play next year. I suppose we will have to do it again!

Thanks for the explanation Paul. Yes, I can now see that it makes sense.
