He used to be my Dads best friend back in the 70's racing autocross cars.
Fred had the "NoPoke" and my Dad the "Leapabout".
Fred once took me out in the mid 80's on the back of a Norton Commando fastback he had restored.
Unbelievable acceleration. :D
I last saw him when I went to a Grasstrack meet down on the Romney Marsh, but as I have lived in Wiltshire for the last 23 years, It was a LONG time ago.
I know he had a son called Sean, I think who must be around 40 now and a daughter I think.
Sure I saw that he had died last year :( .
Loved his British bikes, raced an outfit I think?

Fred "Jausp" Pittock unfortunately died about a year ago. He was into his old classic bikes laterly (street stuff). He was drinking tea in my kitchen after we had removed an A10 engine from a bike I was breaking just one month before he turned his toes up. He died of cancer. Sean is now in Oz (been there what must be 10 years ish?).

Rat (Ian Rohan) his old passenger is now living in Spain.....

That's a shame,
He used to live in a white house beside the Rose & Crown pub at Green Street green.
He and Alan had the line of garages beside the pub for the autocross cars. .
That was about 35 years ago.
There used to be a chap called Clive in the group too.
Think he lived at Avalon road?
Pretty sure he and Fred were in business together at some point.
Was the daughter called Kerry?

Yep, thats right about the house. I spent a fair few nights kipping there when Sean and me used to go out & Fred was the one who gave mew my knickname "Nobhound".
Yes to Kerry too.

I worked for Fred & Clive in the mid - late 80's with Paul Randall as well.

Clive emmigrated to Portugal but had a road bike crash (head on witth car) on I think a VFR800 and is now in a wheelchair, he's back in the UK now (he's at a care type home in Bromley area?)

How things change over the years..

Another old sidecar grass racer Jerry Adams passed away in Spain from cancer a couple of years ago.

I think I'm the same age as Kerry :? I haven't seen her or Sean for 30 years or so, since we were kids.
Dad's were best friends and so were mum's, Parents split etc...
I haven't seen Alan (Dad) in over 10 years now. He lives in Snodland and works at a garage by the station in Orpington.
If you hear from Kerry or Sean, say "Hello" from me.
Fred did have a thing about giving people Nick names.
My Dad was "Scrunge", Mum "Mrs Scrunge" and sister "Scrungette"

I gave up on all Bikes last year.
Gave up on roads bikes years ago due to metal work in legs, wrong mentality to ride a road bike ;)
Sold my Suzuki RM250 last year, Silly fast when in it's power band :D
The wife has a Goldwing Trike, I have a couple of Classic cars and my road / trackday toy.
