I've lost most of my emails and some of my messages from this site (time for a new computer?). Can everyone (except Taz...I've got yours!) please confirm you are coming, your email address, if you are bringing a vehicle, and give me your arrival details, please? I will then email you (Prefer email if you don't mind) where you are staying and the programme for the weekend.
We have use of the Conference Centre at the TT Grandstand and a minibus, so it looks like a busy weekend!
Looking forward to seeing you all and so are the mentors and helpers!
Helen :witch: :cat4 (Cleo!)

Well, the biggest news all weekend was... the weather. With more snow in the south of the Island than I have ever seen! We had problems getting on the Mountain although I think everyone got at least 2 full laps.
However, not to be defeated, we had lots of part laps... to Ramsey, or Douglas to the Creg and back!
Tass, Steffen and myself had a wonderful walk from Ramsey Hairpin to the Gooseneck with Dicky Gale. If it wasn't such a long way I would suggest walking the whole thing... it was very enlightening. :rednose
Then we had an interesting drive back to Castletown in a minor snowstorm with people stopping in the middle of the road and sitting in their cars as if they though the fairies were going to help them or something. All you need is one of these idiots on each side of the road and you're completely stuck.
It WAS slippy and there WAS about an inch of snow, but most of the people on the road simply couldn't drive and in future should stay at home!
Of course, the fact that all our bus services are cancelled at the first snowflake doesn't help, as people then try to get to worketc when they are completely incapable   ...oh..oh...rant...sorry....
We had a great time, really...or I did anyway.
Many thanks to Marc Fagan for use of his minbus (again!), Andrew "Pud" Garrett (for driving it so the instructors had their hands free to wave about), Sarah Blake (for helping with the lunch and keeping me sane when I get worked up!!), Brian Convery at the IOMSPC for his support for our visitors, Paul Phillips and his team for the Grandstand Conference Centre, bits and pieces and lots of moral support, John Turton, photgrapher (for taking great pictures and for the THE MOST FAB PRESENT....WOW!), Martyn Parnell for turning out in such horrible weather and taking pictures of the guys, Tim Glover of Manx Radio for coming up to the Grandstand and interviewing some of the guys (hope to get a copy of this for you all to hear... it was broadcast and was very good) Dicky and Monika Gale for coming with us on a very cold lap and walking up to the Gooseneck with us, and for offering help and support to our newcomers at the 2011 TT, and Roger Maher, whose German is apprently not as Irish as his English hehehe and ........... all the drivers and passengers who came. :notworthy:
I hope the guys are not tooo confused after all the input they got. They have gone home with pace notes from Ken Edwards (more than one edition!!), Dips and Patrick Farrance (all available by email and post to anyone who needs them, by the way)
I had a ball! :D :witch:
So did I.. :cat4 Cleo, who is now not so sure if it's Matt or Steffen she loves!!
