February weekend

Unread post by Helen Gibson »

The Manx Grand Prix solo newcomers weekend is February 25/26th 2011. I would like to hold a sidecar weekend at the same time, so we can help each other out with organisation etc. If you want to come then, let me know so I can get accomodation etc set up. With a bit of luck we will have better weather!

I have just lifted the dates off the MMCC site. Usually people arrive on the Friday afternoon, and leave on the Sunday afternoon, I think.

The Feb one is just us, but there should be an official one in April. Watch this space. I'm not sure that it will be so generously supported as in the past. Finances are dire here.

We're building up a few numbers now, so if anyone else would like to join us... can you let me know? It would be good to have a mixture of newcomers and people with some experience... that worked well last time, and I think everyone benefitted.

...and you can always come back for the official one! Actually, I will offer at least one more...either March or April... or both if people want them... just tell me what you want!

Hi Helen,

I would love to come over for newcomers visit. Im coming over on the 1-5 June to speak with some teams during practice week and watch the Saturday race

im planning on doing the TT in the next couple of years, I have never been to island yet and would love to find out exactly the best way to start preparing, ang get a chance to see the circuit.

What exactly does the weekend involve, what are the cost, will I need a hire car etc, can you recommend any where to stay?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
