Not registered on there but Neil Smith springs to mind, not sure if it was the Manx GP or TT he did on a solo but I'm sure he's ridden the Mountain course on 2 wheels as well as 3. The only rider that springs to mind for me to have driven and passengered on 3 wheels and ridden solos is Richard Crossley.

Ted Fenwick from York, passengered with Alwyn Maltby and also took part in a 250 solo race I believe. Also thinking George O'Dell may have taken part in some shape or form in a solo practice, if not a race ?

How about Freddie Wallis and more recently his son, David too ?

According to the TT database, Dick Hawes, as well as competing in many sidecar races as a driver; took part as a passenger in 1967, and in the same year also participated in the 125 solo race on a Bultaco  He was also involved in another solo race in 1984.

We may be unique :D

How many other fathers and sons have done the TT on solo and as sidecar drivers?

Dad did solo in the 1950's and sidecar in the 1960's.

My best solo result was 15th in the supersport 400 and best sidecar (so far :) ) 8th.
