Is this the UK's most famous LCR?

The one that went down the ditch at Assen, seen every week for years on the opening credits of Grandstand.
Webbo's first LCR, 1983 and he has got it back and is restoring it, Steve even has the original engine that was in it to go back in.
In his own words 'just have to wait a few years til they let them into classics'.

Interesting choice of carbs Steve, somebody must have a good set of reverse slide ones knocking about. But I bet it will look and sound fantastic on track though.

is that a trials outfit sat in there as well??????

wonder how that would do in f1 champs ith steve riding it?!?!?!?

the lcr, not the trials bike!

Yes it is, I think you'll find its Steve's BSA classic trials outfit. Him and Woody have had a couple of outings I think. It really does need to be out more Steve :D :D :mrgreen:

Last time I saw Steves red LCR was at Mr Golders house in Gravesend last year.

Thats the plan Gary, we needed to get a new fairing made in the old style, that we now have so just needs some paint, and a few small jobs finishing. Then a big push to see if it starts.
