Ian - is that last pic Paddock at Brands during one of the backwards Hutchinson 100 meetings? Sure looks like it to me, if so that was a truly awesome corner especially as a passenger

Last pic is great - reckon your right Bob. And I too reckon riding Brands the 'wrong' way round would be awesome.

Think that the phrase 'trying hard' may apply to the pics at Ballaugh

And there was me thinking it was the passengers fault

Great pics Howard. I had MCN's at my mum's from 1967 upto 1979. I then went abroad working & my mum binned the lot. Keep the pics comming Howard.

Hi Konig buffs, picture two shows I believe Gardner carbs don,t remember them being used on a konig do
wonder how well they worked? Picture three also shows what looks like belt primary drive with what could
pass for a Bob Newby clutch. Most Konig,s at the time used either a morse chain which was origanal konig equipment, or a commando clutch with a triplex chain. Thats me probbably pestering Gerry by the transit door
and it is the 74 hutch dont now about three wheels it was frighting enough on two wheels backwards?

Could'nt have been the 1974 Hutch' Gerry was on the Renwick Konig by then

That looks like the vinny outfit that was sold to Lee Fieldsend a aussie sidecar speedway rider living over here, it was fitted with a konig engine and if I remember right was sold to the late Micky Rocco, he was passengered for a couple of seasons by pete henderson, it ran with gardner carbs.

Mick Rocco may as you said have owned and raced that bike but he never raced a 2stroke to my knowledge,i knew him from his early days at his cafe near to Arsenal football club. He repaired fairings for the local racer's in his workshop behind the cafe. He was a Vincent man alway's and we built a few Vincents together over the years with never a mention of 2strokes
