does anybody know where i can get the old 1into2 throttle barrell cable setup for an old triumph sidecar we,re putting together cheers andy.

I use the plastic barrel from the triumph triple choke

They are available from Amal, along with the cables but they are not cheap, it worked out at about £65 for a ketttle throttle cable, I bought 2 genuine suzuki cables for that price.
I thought early Bonnevilles had that arrangement but I'm not sure that you could change the cables, I seem to think they were crimped, I have a mate who is into early Triumphs, if I can contact him, he is buying bikes from USA, so I don't know if he is at home, I will ask him and post reply for you.

Hi Andy we use a twin pull throttle and cables you can route them better than the single setup cheers
