a) Riders and Passengers
All Competitors resident in the UK must have held as a minimum a National Licence issued by the ACU or the SACU for at least twelve months prior to the closing date for entries. Passengers must hold a National Passenger Licence. Competitors from other FMN’s must have held an FIM International Non - Championship Licence for a minimum of twelve months prior to the closing date for entries.
All competitors must be over 18 years of age on the 28th May 2011.
Does a passenger have to have held a national licence for twelve months?
What else does a passenger need to do to get a TT licence? Is it 6 meets in the previous year on an F2??
Cheers Ryan

Re: Passenger licence for TT
While were asking questions, I'm guessing that my "FMN" is the local governing body with affiliation to the FIM (in my case the Canadian Motorcycle Association, who haven't sactioned any road racing for decades but that is another story)?
And if your FMN does not offer the appropriate insurances required is it sufficient if you can prove you personally have obtained equivalent or better coverage?

Ryan: Rules for passengers are exactly the same as for riders.
Chris: 1. Yes... 2. I think so... but email Paul Phillips for confirmation Paul.Phillips@gov.im

"""""""ACU and SACU licence holders must have held a National licence for Road Racing for a minimum of 12 months prior to the closing date for entries."""""
Poo that means if i manage to get the 3 sinatures i need at the next couple of meets for my national licence, I still wouldnt of had a national licence for 12 months by the time entries close for 2012......
Anyway round this or do i have to wait for 2013???
Cheers
Ryan

Just gathering information to put together a plan to attend in a future year (as I mentioned elsewhere, probably 2015 or 2016, sorry but that is about the soonest we could realisticly pull it all together).
