im new to this site i was wondering if anybody remembered these pairing i was a wee nipper in thoses years i'm the son of richard burford my dad not alive anymore he passed away in june 30th 1990 and i ave got to say that his ashes were scattered at brands ..........

I remember you,I am 2-3 years younger than you from memory, you'd be 35/36 ?

I've probably got some photos of your dad and your big uncle as the passenger

Richard fixed my camera for me once in the late 80's too i remember

My dad has thousands of pictures and there will be fair few of your dad i'd guess, he has registered on here now and i am going to badger him into scanning some and posting them on here

Will it be possible to post some photo's of my father i be very greatfull im 35 now ok . I was little sod back then .i dont see my big uncle anymore i fell out with him

I would have raced against them back when I started in 85. Had many close races with them.

You was gary golder's passenger then , i still see him at brands sometimes, he always talks to me when i see him its nice to talk to the oldies bk to the good old days . I suppose u use to see me running around the paddock

I think I got a photo of John & Richard - trying to pass me on outside at Druids from 1985 (I must have started racing when i was about 10!!!!).

I remember many battles with those two. Dont remember Mr Burford im afraid, but I do remember a right old bust up with Slattery, whose idea of close racing was to put his front wheel up in my platform, knocking my brother out on the track and putting us out of the race. It was 'discussed' after the race and thankfully it never happened again. He was a good adversary in the 4 stroke class tho I must say.

I remember Richard very well, he gave me my break into racing after we met watching a British championship round in 1989, the picture is me and Richard at Brands in 1989 and shortly after this we all went to assen together.

I should have some pictures of Richard and possibly some video as well

I'll let you know what I can find but it will take a while as its all "filed away" somewhere.

I remember you ,your peter knowler i must been about 13/14 at the time watching you and my dad race i also went with me dad to assen aswell .

I will be going to brands gp meeting in may but only the saturday ..

It was shame that you wasn't out on monday , i hope you sort out the fuel pipe problem by then .
