i think they only do that when races have been delayed in the week and its to much of a rush to get down the villa marina

Not at the TT Andy, that would be unfair 
There was an F1 presentation at their do a couple of weeks back at the Inn on the Lake, I was at an Uncles 70th Birthday that night so could not attend but it sounds like it was a good night.
