Does anybody know how a Krober rev counter should be wired?

A Krober must always be mounted 25mm away from all adjacent parts. It is always connected to the contact breaker by the lead supplied with the rev counter on terminal 1. The mounting bracket of the rev counter which is connected to terminal 4 of the rev counter by a short lead must make electrical contact with the earth of the motorcycle. If used with electronic ignition the main lead is connected to the CB side of the coil.
Hope this helps,
Howard.

Thanks Howard.
All sorted now. Except the engine won't start but that's another issue.

I set it static and with a strobe on rollers. There is a spark and fuel. Just won't go. It was fine two days ago.

It was a points, condenser type.
I have now fitted the one off our old engine.
Does anyone know where the two wires should go?

Where is the Condenser ? If its not in the distributor, then one wire goes to the coil and the other to the condenser.

Gone back to points dizzy. Still not running. Suspect fuel contamination.
I'll flush the system tomorrow and try new fuel.

Hi Richard,
I need to know the make. It never had a control box.
I've fitted a brand new Lumenition which didn't work either. Dave Johnson and I fitted a new loom and a spare Lumenition and it is all working now.
What a pain this has been. Must of had an intermittent short in the loom.
