Team Gristwood will be holding its annual BBQ and Karaoke party at Brands Hatch this year.

It will take place on Saturday evening following prize giving under our awnings.

Although primarily aimed at feeding the sidecar crews and helpers/families all are of course welcome.

Please bring a bottle and get singing.

Always a really good do. Team Eddy's will be there. Don't know about the singing though.

It should be ok if we can stop Mr G getting hold of the mike.

He has promised not to sing.

Den and Chris may be doing their special 'Leader of the Pack' if we are lucky (and they are drunk).

I'll be there and it will be ideal to celebrate my 26th birthday (4th July) !

I'll never forget Mr G and The Pirate singing at the last Brands BBQ !!! Least of all because I have the video!!

Thanks to everyone who turned up at Brands Hatch and provided some of the best racing entertainment of the weekend. If we can keep the 750's coming we will definitely get them their own grid.

As for the evening entertainment - the Gristwood Bash had to be the best so far, helped by the weather (Anglesey rain would put a damper on most things - especially when someone forgets to pack the roof!!). A big thanks to all the crews who stumped up for Dave "the Gaffer" Gristwood and the rest of the slideys to enjoy some excellent food, drink and entertainment.

A great weekend, superb racing, good weather and to top it of a great evening put on by Dave and his team. So that's a thank you to the racers, the marshalls and club officials and helpers, God and Dave Gristwood and everyone involved in the running of the evening.

Oh, nearly forgot; thanks to Mike Richards for some air guitar entertainment and for nearly making me Pee myself watching him tack against the wind trying to find his way back to his tent. Hope the nut isn't too sore Mike! See, I told you I wouldn't tell anyone, Doh, I forgot others could read this too! Oops!
