Damn just missed it.
As it was raining I decided to visit the National Motorcycle Museum this morning and had the pleasure of bumping into and chatting with Larry Coleman who's over for the TT.

Vince Biggs 1st (busch bmw)
Eddie Tombs 2nd (tombs bmw)
Ian Salter 3rd ( m r equipe norton)
Wal Saunders 4th ( m r equipe bmw) loose throttle
Dick Hawes 5th (m r equipe bmw)
Nick Houghton ( m r equipe weslake) was leading stopped with fuel pump problems.

New lap record by Houghton. By 2 seconds or so 
The old lap record had been held for many years by Geoff & Ruth Hands and goes to show what a superb lap it was by them all those years ago, to have stood for so long........6 or 8 years???
