Another fantastic grid for the last two Championship rounds and of course the Race of the Year, not forgetting the Bill Barracliff Sidecar Handicap Race. Once again Bill has been extremely generous in donating some fabulous trophies, some of which will hold brown envelopes containing readies! Last year at Cadwell the start line organisation for the handicap race was sadly lacking. For those still scarred from last year's fiasco could I just ask you to give it another go; Bill and his generosity has supported the sidecars for many years now and deserves our support in return.

Sadly myself and Grant wil not be able to race now. I was involved in a serious road traffic accident earlier today and as a result our van (with sidecar, all the camping gear etc etc) has been taken by them as part of the investigation. I was in the van with my twin brother (Geoff) and am pleased to say we are both fine. We will still be going to Snetterton and depending on how I feel may marshal.

My God guys, that is a catastrophie, so sorry to hear about it. Been following you quite a bit this year as I used 2 tridents, an 870 and a 930 with loads of American stuff, over 2 seasons 1974 and 1975. Hope everything turns out ok for you.

What crushing news Ian, hope that you are both OK and the same for the van etc as well.
