Just seen a tweet from Sarah Millican the comedienne, saying she had to use one recently and felt like Bear Grylls.
I don't remember the last time I used one.

Last time I tried to use a pay phone it was made only to take BT cards and I didn’t have one. The phone box is on a remote stretch of road in North Wales where there is no mobile signal and also no people to rob or vandalise the phone so why not take money?
These things are now for the most part emergency use only and should be constructed in such a way that in an emergency they will work.

You could have one button and hands free so no receiver and be connected to an operator whilst being on camera to discourage kids (god love em).

Blimey, can't remember the last time I used one! Used them all the time in the 90's but then....along came my mobile phone...

When I was at the Ferry Terminal in the I.o.M. this year, after all my calling credit was robbed by Vodafone with their ridiculous roaming charges :x (Yes, I got a Manx sim card when I returned for the S100, wasn't getting stung again !)
