70's, believed French. ANy info welcome. There is a suggestion that the driver may be Rolf Biland but I'm not so sure.

Maybe a silly observation but driver looks too tall for Rolf.

More info courtesy of a number of kind folk from the French sidecar site :notworthy:

Bike is called a 'Delga', built circa 1975 and ridden by Pierre Gachelin featuring a number of innovative ideas, quite what I am not privy to yet, powered by a 750 Honda, principally used for hill climb events.

Couple more pics from my French friend Charliegrouniache :D

Reminds me a bit of Geoff Baldock's shed, for those of you old enough to remember ;)

Yet another, by jove these French lads are good :notworthy:

Tank is a tad large for hillclimbs methinks  Could be a labour saving device that only needs filling once every meeting ...

A little more - Pierre also contested the French road race championships on this bike thus the big tank. It seems as though it was a little temperamental as it overheated readily when running and did not like sitting stationary for too long on the grid.
