F350 and Post Classics allowed in?

Just a thought, as we have only a few meetings in our championship, how about inviting us to your classic meets to have a run out with you? Non points scoring would be fine with me. The opportunity to run with classics is desirable to say the least.

WE already have reserves for Classics. Don't see how post classics could fit in.

Merv, In addition to the already full grids (We were 7th reserve at Cadwell!), there's also the issue with slicks.
What would happen if it rained? We'd have to stop the race so that 1 or 2 outfits could fit wets, and the CRMC already struggle to get all the races in in two days.

Hi Merv,
This is a good idea and it would be great to see you. As Eddie and Nick have said we are a little over subscribed at the moment but not always. We do have a P4 class that the Roeberry's run a Kettle in.
I think the main problem in the past is that the club has a strict 'no slicks' rule for all classes and this has put a number of post classic guys off. There is also a hot debate about the direction the club is taking with some objection to turning into the Post Classic Racing Club.
There is a lot of competition for track time in the club (being debated on the Classic Forum at the moment) and many classes want to split races. We would love to run separate P1/P2 and P3/P4 race. If this ever becomes a possibility I would think we would be grateful if you could join us.
The danger if we can't split the classes is that some will get fed up with being reserves and move on. It's difficult to know what to do for the best.

Simon I think you may have overlooked the 'no rear exit' rule also?

Looking at Cadwell last weekend there just isn't room for PC's at the moment. 7 reserves at CRMC (Well done Ian and all at CRMC!) just doesn't really open itself to letting in other classes.

Merv,
its an F2 mate. you were mxing it ok with the f2's at donni ok. Get out with any of the clubs and you'll do well.
Also, get your entry in for scarborough on the 24th june. F2 entries are being accepted.

Can't do the 24th, I am away on holiday, but I would love to do Scarborough. Are there any other dates available for F2's?

Erm, like there is TIME to

The Period 1 and 2 grid is almost big enough to warrant their own races and there are already plenty of P3 for their own. It will be a big enough battle getting these races split never mind looking at adding more classes!
