Re: sidecar wheel lead
In my limited experience, try between 11" to 13",or for a more informed view, try ringing Rod Bellas,or Trevor Ireson, youll find both of them very helpfull.
The wheel base seems a little long to me,you may find it slow to change direction,of course these measurements are also affected by the size of the wheels you choose to use.

Re: sidecar wheel lead
our class uses 13 inch, 6 inch wide max
Re: sidecar wheel lead
No more than 13" lead on a front exit, any more and their is not enough room for the passenger to get out on left handers. Rear exit machines tend to use more lead.
