Just a line to let you know how Paul is. We got him into A&E and its fare to say i was shocked about the amount of damage and so were the staff, :o (even a bloke in the waiting room asked Rupert how his mate with the gun shot wound was). Three of them got to work druging him up and washing out the wound and he seemed to cheer up after his second shot of morphine and we had abit of a laugh sharing the gas when no one was looking.
He will be going in to theater early afternoon today to check how stable the fracture is, to clean it properly and sort it out, he should be out sometime the next day all going well.
Obviously it was my fault as passenger (even though i wasn't there) but i think it had something to do with giant magnet in the back of the pickup!!

P,S, Good days riding and i bet no one even reads this anymore!

He went off to jet wash the bike on his own after the trial, went round a left hand corner, lifted the chair, couldn't stop the bike and caught the rear corner of a parked pickup with his arm breaking the lense. It's looks like someone has hit him across the elbow with a meat cleaver. obviously he is kicking him self.

Sounds like a nasty one. Hope all went well yesterday. Were you on a high after claiming 3rd spot :notworthy: or maybe its Ruperts 'wacky backy'.

Best wishes from Pedro

He had the op this morning and was feeling abit rough, he hasn't seen the surgeon yet so doesn't know what they had to do but he did confirm that his back side felt ok so they didn't tamper with that!

ps hitting parked pickup trucks is not advisable :o :(

Winky Randall misses TWO sections at our local Trial at Canada Heights and Yours Truly wins the Premier Award?? He was feeding his face at the Burger Van and did not follow the route marking. Of nearly 100 riders He was the only rider to miss the sections
