Classic Sidecar Stompers

The 2013 classic sidecar series [Camathius Cup] will be announced shortly by Ben Gray.
As the paddock evenings are such an important part of the event, it makes sense to arrange
something special in the way of entertainment.
Trad Jazz has always been popular with racers [Mike Hailwood organised Chris Barber to play in
the paddock at Brands at the October International in the seventies]
Phil Luhr and Ben Gray are both very good drummers and I am a passable trumpet player [ I lived
for my horn when I was a teenager ??] There must be many competitors or friends who would like
to become involved both here and abroad. Who knows what it could grow into may blossom into.

Do you think it is a good idea ? Please post your comments. :dancers:

I am managing a band who play rock type music (and they write their own stuff). Featuring JP (the well known classic passenger) on drums and brilliant lead, rhythm and bass guitarists together with an excellent vocalist - they are looking for gigs at the moment. Any openings would be appreciated.

I seem to remember you or one of your gang playing the piano in a village pub near Mallory in the early 80's, we were with Bob & Snowy Chapman. Can't remember to much about it, think it was something I ate at the time!.Don't think the landlord would ever forget it.

Not sure, all I can remember it was a quiet pub when we arrived. Not sure about when we left.
