How many points do you get for a two day meeting and how many poimts for quailifing and finishing both race's and any extra points for looking dam good in leather????

One if it's run on one permit, two if it's two permits, and it makes no difference if you win every race. I understand there may be some changes to the qualification criteria for 2013, but that's just speculation at the moment, so assume it's the same as 2012.

Looks like now 2 for a 2 day meeting, and maximum of 2 for a meeting of more than 2 days. Anybody on here know if this will be the case with Scottish meetings?

This should be clear.........however it is NOT..........when 'one' enters a two day event .....how 'does one' know if the event has one permit or two ?

Another interesting development states .....two signatures should be in the same year as the event being entered.

Difficult if 'one' has to have the six finishes by 28th FEB

I like the theory.....two finishes in March/April/May.........proving set-up of the machine and driver / passenger team work.

The way I read it, I don't think it matters any more.

I think the cut off date was moved to the 9th of May. Still not too found of this change as our season doesn't start until early May and if we are attempting to contest the TT our sidecar will already have been in a crate and headed to the UK for over a month by then. Do you think the ACU will accept a couple of snowmobile race finishes instead? (assuming I can borrow a snowmobile and the organizers will let me race with a passenger)

Couperman. If you read it, it says ANY 2 day meeting whether one or two permits. Also, note the cutoff date...in MAY.

I think its all perfectly clear and the fact that you can get two signatures in a weekend shows someone has been listening to all the moans and groans. Will make the gaining of a mountain course licence cheaper by half.
