Building a new system, as mine was abit busy looking. What are teams using for a pump as in the gravity feed high pressure type.
We broke something, I think it was traction….........

Been looking at those but cannot find what amps they pull on full load Ian. Did you beef up the original wiring from relay to pump or leave it std.

Hi Brian,

Simon from RPM can supply the bosch pump at a good price. I use a sytec from the tank to swirl pot and a bosch from pot to injectors. I run them in parallel and they draw about .5 amp. Its a bit messy but it works well and Ive not had the cash to get a pump put in the tank so I'll be running the same next year.

I'll txt you Simon's number.

That's the same system I've got rid of John. I've built a system similar to Suzuki
Where the fuel rail has no return. This is what I've built for less than £80 quid. Just pressure tested and is ok hence fuel filter not inline.

Hi Brian I use just one pump run through a fixed pressure regulator. I have a very good source for the pumps which are tried and tested and are £100 cheaper than else where. Give me a call.

Thanks dave got it sorted now scrapped the system on the pic as regulator faulty. Rebuilt it with a system pump like Ian's filter, new plumbing. Found an interesting adapter for the fuel rail-an6 fitting better than jubilee clip etc I did have I on.

TORQUES on eBay dean £15.00 delivered
eBay no. 160716269521
If you buy one dean there almost a interferance fit very tight but good quality. :D
Elderbrock do make a slightly better version but it'll cost you over £100. I went for this as the Std design is not dissimilar to the std part.

I had my entire season ruined last year because of faulty sytec pumps. Switched to a Bosch' 044 and bike has never missed a beat since. As the Bosch' pulps up to 20a I run it through a separate fused relay. The original fuel pump feed only switches the relay on.
Wont use anything else now, even if they as expensive.

I would always run a pump through a relay.
Did you run the sytec through a relay aswell ?
