As a short term passenger I feel the need to leap to passengers defense, Racing at Aintree for the first time Rachel driving me passenger, got to tell you this as it still makes me laugh. We qualified second to last, Rachel does a stunning start and at the the first corner we are in second !!!!! Rachel then lets everyone through???? and then we go round at a slow pace??? I asked her what happened she says I got to the front and didn't know what to do !!!!    Truth came out later that Bruce told her not to damage the outfit as he was racing it at Snet the next day !? anyway second race Rach not such a good start but picks up the pace, each lap quicker, coming down the straight and for those of you that don't know left hand bend at the end. I'm thinking hope she remembers to brake earlier as we are now on very worn tyres and going faster "no she isn't" and yes now the choice comes into your head jump and you will be ok, but the driver will almost certainly get hurt, or stay and get hurt !!!! I stayed hanging out of the outfit to hold it on the ground. when we finally stopped Rach looked across at me and said "you are still there i thought you had gone as we went off" "no you was going faster and you need to brake earlier!" so don't blame the passenger and at that the prosecution rests its chase your honor.

sorry wrong forum

I Have to say I had a similar moment at Snett last year going into what was Russells, one of them things really... Caught up with a slower rider, choices were plough into them or brake harder, Brian chose to brake harder and I came out   Was obviously Brian's fault for braking harder, it's always driver error ;)

We have a series of photos of me doing the same thing (without the falling out bit) mid transition for a left and I end up face planted in the chair

The only time Bruce managed to spit me out was in the paddock at Donnington, that was after he tried to get me to fall out going down craner curves   he decided to overtake someone just as I was mid transfer almost spat me out the back door  managed to hold on with one hand and pulled myself back in just as he broke for the right at the bottom of the hill throwing me into the fairing and cracking two ribs :?

That's funny, Vicky. I nearly went at that same meeting at that same corner (You may have seen Tim posted photo on CRMC). As I looked at the tarmac up close, I can honestly say that I said to myself "So this is how Vicky did it, then. It's so simple!"

Though it wasn't how you Brian did yours - I'd missed a hand hold (obviously, because Tim had braked too hard & too late) ;) Broodily drivers!

Best unplanned exit wasn't even an exit, got left flat on my face in the middle of the front row at Snet. Broodly driver didn't even wait, buggered off and into the corn field at Riches!
